We advise that you go through the terms and conditions of the Nepal Tour guide Team prior to making any reservation in any one of our trip packages. Once you confirm your reservation, it is deemed that you have agreed to our rules and regulations. In case of any questions or clarification required pertaining to our terms, do not think twice to ask us for we are here for you!

Nepal Tour Guide Team is a team of dedicated, qualified professionals committed to the objective of reliable and trustworthy tour and trekking service. We are registered under the Government of Nepal, the Nepal Tourism Board, hence fully complying with the industry standards.

Booking Conditions

A valid passport is required to book any of our trips. We need an advance deposit of 20% of the total price of the trip to confirm your booking along with the scanned copies of your passport.

We require a 50% deposit from our Bhutan tours for booking confirmation, while the deposit required for a tour to Tibet and India is 30%. Payments may be made by bank transfer or by credit card. Please note that all the deposits are nonrefundable in case the client cancels the program.

Our side, if there are certain unavoidable factors that force us to cancel the tour, we will give you the option to postpone your tour-loss of deposit, of course. For more details regarding cancellation, please refer to the cancellation policy section.

Last-minute bookings for our Nepal tours can also be accepted up to three days prior to the commencement of the tour. This option, however, does not apply for Bhutan, Tibet, and India tours.

RISK AND LIABILITIES:

All of the Nepal, Tibet , India and Bhutan tours are conducted under the strict rules and regulations of the tourism board of the respective country. We are not liable for any changes or cancellations of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like change in the rules and regulations of country, any government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, cancellations of flights, delays, sickness or accidents, breakdown of vehicles, etc. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall have to be borne by the clients themselves. Therefore, we recommend you have a travel Insurance.

Postponement Policy of Trip


In case the clients want to postpone their trips, then they need to inform us in writing at least 45 days prior to the starting date of their quoted trip.

In case of postponing Nepal tours Trekking, %15 postponing charge will be deducted. The remaining balance of your deposit from the initial booking will be transferred to the postponed trip.

In the case of postponing tours to Tibet, Bhutan, and India, cancellation charges will be provided based on the current market rates of those countries. Specifically, the following charges will occur:

Tibet and India: 30%
Bhutan: 50% of the total cost of the trip

Cancellations (Nepal)

For any trip cancellations clients will have to inform 30 days prior to the departure. While 20% Booking amount is fully nonrefundable any extra amount received above that shall be refunded however the expenses incurred for the transfer of the refund amount shall be charged by the company. Any trips cancelled within 15 days of the date of departure shall be fully nonrefundable.

Cancellations (Bhutan, Tibet and India):

In case of the cancellation of the Bhutan, Tibet and India tours Our company should be informed 30 days prior to the date of departure. For any Bhutan tour 50% of the total trip amount shall be charged and for Tibet and India tour 30% of the total trip amount shall be charged. Any amount received above that shall be refunded and the cost of the transfer of the refund amount shall be charged too. For Any cancellations below 30 days from the days of departure All the amount received shall be nonrefundable.

Incomplete Tours:

Our company is not liable for any refund amount in case any clients wants to quit any tour in the middle of it.

Cancellation by Company

If our company has to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, political issues, unavoidable climate conditions etc. we shall arrange another trip for the client when the circumstances are suitable. So the money received from clients in advance will not go in vain.

Change in Pricing:

Company holds the right to change the price any time if the company feels necessary. Such actions however will be reasonable like inflation, too much changes in exchanges rates, New Govt. policies etc. but company shall not be liable to answer anyone in such case.

Flight Delays/ Cancellations

It is likely to have flight delays or cancellations especially in remote areas of Nepal. Company shall not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred due to such conditions so clients are advised to carry extra cash for such circumstances.

Insurance

Our company does not provide insurance for any of our tours or treks. It is highly recommended for our clients to have travel insurance high altitude medical expenses, personal accidents, emergency evacuations, trip cancellations, loss of gears and natural calamity, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects as our company is not responsible for any of these incidents.

Note: The above terms and conditions are applicable when clients book directly from us. For any bookings received from third party, clients shall be liable to their terms and Condition.
