  • day 1

    Day 1: Kathmandu to Charikot (1,760m)

    Start your trip with a picturesque 6-8 hour drive from Kathmandu to Charikot, which is around 150 km away. Charikot sits at an elevation of 1,760 meters and acts as the starting point for the Kalinchowk Trek. Once you reach Charikot, you can spend the night in a guesthouse.

    Charikot to Kuri Village (3,450 meters)

    On the second day, you can either drive or hike to Kuri Village, which is located at an altitude of 3,450 meters. The village is around 18 kilometers from Charikot and provides a peaceful setting with breathtaking mountain scenery. You will spend the night in Kuri Village.

    Kuri Village to Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple (3,842m) and Return to Charikot

    On the last day, start early and hike for 2-3 hours to reach the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple, which is 3,842 meters high. This temple is a famous place for people to visit and offers beautiful views of the Himalayas at sunrise. After seeing the temple, go back down to Kuri Village for breakfast, and then either hike or drive back to Charikot. From Charikot, you will return to Kathmandu by the evening.
